Told in two perspectives—Sadie herself, and West McCray, the host of a radio podcast series—this book chronicles the missing person and murder investigations of two sisters, Sadie and Mattie. As Sadie travels from city to city in search of the man who killed her sister, West is close on her trail, hunting her down and unraveling the case/5(78). Mam claims her head is cluttered and unclear. The worst part is, Dat refuses to acknowledge Mam's struggles. Sadie finds some refuge in Nevaeh, a black-and-white paint. But when a dreadful accident involving wild horses occurs, Sadie must move forward into the unknown. Keeping Secrets, Book 2: There's horse trouble in Montana again. Only this.

This book was darker than typical teen stories, and Sadie’s life was not easy or glamorous, so I would recommend it for an older or more mature crowd, such as 15 or older. I would rate this book 9/10 stars. @bookaholic of the Hamilton Public Library's Teen Review Board. Most of our books are stored in elastic clouds, and traffic is expensive. Its repetetive in its language and the kids love to say "she rolled it and rolled it until it was done". Its a great book for the young kids to try and remember what Sadie put on the snowman.

Would recommend it for young and old alike!Reviews: Fantastically illustrated book about Sadie. Eighteen-year-old Sadie Robertson understands what it’s like to be a teenager and young. When Sadie’s sister is murdered, Sadie sets out on a road to revenge. This book is written in part as an investigative podcast - a unique concept I haven’t come across before - and for me it worked really well.

The story moves from past to present in alternate chapters (a style I always enjoy) and keeps the listener gripped to the end.A bestselling author, Sadie is currently working on the follow up to her New York Times bestselling book, Live Original: How the Duck Commander Teen Keeps It Real and Stays True to Her Values, which, along with her newest books, Life Just Got Real and Live Original Devotional are available at retailers nationwide.
